DANCE STYLES

  • Jazz is an energetic and diverse dance style that encourages creativity and expression. Jazz dance develops in line with current music, allowing the style to constantly evolve and remain popular. Our jazz classes are super fun and will give your dancer the opportunity to build their technique, confidence, power and artistic style.

  • Hip Hop is derived from a range of street dance styles, influenced by hip hop music. It is a soulful, funky, free style of dance that is commonly seen in many music videos. Our hip hop classes focus on various techniques and grooves, allowing your dancer to find their own style through improvisation and freestyle dancing.

  • The most rhythmic of the dance forms, Tap is a fabulous way to increase coordination of the body and mind and helps your dancers to develop a sense of rhythm, timing and expression.

  • Contemporary is an innovative style of dance that offers a vast creative vocabulary. This style allows your dancer to explore their artistry through precise, static, dynamic, and athletic movements that twist, expand, and contract without limits.

  • Lyrical is a genre of dance, that merges the foundations of ballet, jazz and contemporary dance. This style concentrates on the individuals artistic approach and expressiveness, rather than the precision of the dancer's movements.

  • Ballet is a classical style commonly described as the foundation of a dancer. It focuses on elegance, dedication and commitment. Ballet will teach your dancer how to be graceful, strong, poised, light on their feet and to use their movement to express themselves through the music.

  • Acrobatics combines balance, agility, strength, flexibility and motor coordination in order to complete skills such as handstands, cartwheels and back bends. Students learn the basics of tumbling in a safe environment, where they can advance their skills overtime.
